Monthly Finance Update #7
A very different month, November!
Tiny House build has finally begun. We’re making progress and feel free to take a look at how far we are : ‘Det Lille Potentiale’
As always showing these financial numbers and progress with full transparency has the goal to give you inspiration and reference to compare and who knows maybe learn something new.
Keeping myself accountable is a bonus and helps me follow the path to financial freedom.

What has happened this month?
A total change of events this month. Focus is now 100% on the tiny house build!
Therefore a savings rate of 0 % as there will be no income for the next few months.
The Tiny House project is very exciting and quite nerve-racking as we don’t have a ton of building experience.
But we’re committed, focused and sure as hell excited.
Our very detailed Tiny House build plans, or close anyway

Investments
My 2019 goal of investing 30.000 dkk 4015 € has been reached which is great!
Goal setting has worked well for me and at New Year a 2020 goal will also be put into place.
As usual index investments were purchased automatically in December with the amount of 2.500 dkk ( 335€ ) reaching a total of 41.613 dkk ( 5569 € ).
This month this amount has come from a savings account as there won’t be any income for the next few months.
Slow and steady wins the race.
Tiny House Update
Tiny house build is coming along and we are learning soo much.
Our budget goal for building the Tiny House is 150.000 dkk (20.070 €).
And is slowing being used as we build.
One thing quite interestingly is the fact that we need to get used to spending this amount of money!
Having a savings rate of 65% and now having to spend around 150.000 (20.070 €)over 4 months is quite nerve-racking.
I’m having to remind myself that I must compare every purchase with the overall cost of the alternative which is a house purchase followed by a 20/30 year loan paying off interest.
No thanks! 😀 Debt free living, yes, please!
Wine basement in the Tiny House can fit two people!
Updates on the build from start to finish will be shared on the facebook page.
Danish readers can join the group ‘Det Lille Potentiale, Tiny House’.
Where we also will update on the build and invite you guys out to help and learn if interested!
The build is going to be a challenge and these experiences will also be shared, together with the financial aspects.
Feel free to take a look.
Focus next month
Building the Tiny house in progress.
Keep up the steady work !
See how it is coming along :
