Monthly Finance Update # 27

July Update, 2021.

July’s update is today published on the 1st. There we go!

Back on track with the updates.

Income after tax: 6.500 dkk 873 €

Invested amount: 2.796 dkk 374 €

Savings rate: 43 %

Extra amount invested (from savings account): 22.204 dkk 2984 €

Total invested in Indexes: 322.191 dkk 43.317 €

Portfolio change since previous month + 1,14 %

What has happened this month of July?

Investments:

Small increase in portfolio size. Not much of a change. But interesting to see that 1% now is roughly 4 / 5000 kroner.

This will increase over the years which will be interesting to follow!

I’ve heard a few friends having trouble wanting to look at the fluctuations of their portfolios every single day.

This is understandable in the beginning of your investment journey. Know the feeling, trust me!

And it is really one of the reasons why I’m glad I started investing at an early age as it’s a gift having the years of experience being able to invest and only check once a month how the month has been.

Really avoids having to stress over sometimes 2, 3, 4% drops and increases during the month.

No point in checking the fluctuations if the average market increase per year in general around 7, 8, 9%.

Waste of time checking every day!

Company:

Starting up a few new customers this month which will be interesting and will be a well needed increase in income hopefully.

This really has to be my main focus now as my income is way too low. No point in being good at saving and investing if there isn’t enough coming in to the bank account, right?

Love the fact that you can go and repair your flat tire at your mechanic and he finishes off by asking:

” Do you still do Facebook ads? Because then I’ll write to you very soon! “

Job :

Had one weeks worth of work at the school teaching families in climbing, kayaking teambuilding exercises, and finding edible plants and fruits in the local area.

A great combination of work with my new company!

Tiny House progress

We had a big spell of rain the other day with over 35 mm in 30 minutes so heavy heavy rain and another spell the day after.

The water collected itself right around our house which left about two inches of water in quite a big area.

Luckily the water disappeared quite quickly but it was a bit of a shock coming back to your house in a lake.

That was Julys update. Feels good to be back on track!
