What has happened this month?
It’s coming along the new company I have made that includes all of my online work.
I find it quite interesting getting to understand the side hustle of Facebook ads, which I now can see quite a big potential in as growing your income can be quite easy with very minimum expenses per month in the near future. And also has the freedom of not having to work a specific time of day.
This could be a great way of having a low-income job such as a kite surfing teacher job in the summer with a low to average pay and still being able to get by quite suitably in fact.
But it will take work and trying to get to this point. Time to hustle!
Luckily I am from next year going to have more hours at the school I’m working teaching in the subjects sustainable building plus outdoor sports which is great to be able to combine online work plus the teaching
Investments
The savings rate was 67% this month which is nice and high again. Quite a few months in a row which is great.
Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get a screenshot of how the portfolio has changed this month but it was roughly a positive 4%.
This month was also the months where I added a bit of my savings account into the automatic investment which meant that instead of only 13,000 dkk (which was the 67%) there was an extra 11,000 dkk to be invested. In all 25,000 dkk.
I’ll continue to do this for a while and if there is any kind of unplanned market dip I’ll put more in the market to build and grow the nest egg.
Tiny House Update
The entrance for the tiny house is coming along well. There is a new tunnel for the cats to go out of the catflap. We’ve managed to figure out which outer skirting to cover the bottom of the tiny house with so that the wind doesn’t go under and cools down the floor too much. Ended up deciding on hay! Easy to find a cheap and makes it look quite cosy.
Look forward to the pictures !
One of the next jobs to do is installing the fireplace so we can have a nice cosy fire during this winter. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking having to make a big hole through a wall you spent many hours precisely putting together.
But I guess we’ll have to at some point.
The update will be on point for the 1st of January, where there also be the yearly update for 2020 !
- Updates on the tiny house build from start to finish will be shared on the Facebook page.
Danish readers can join the group ‘Det Lille Potentiale, Tiny House’.
I hope your savings rate was steady and high this month!
