January – Total invested in Indexes:         333.799  dkk     47.470 €

Investments:

Now that’s a decline when looking at only this month!

Luckily 2021 gave a return of + 20%.


January – Portfolio change since previous month  -5,44%




Very big drop in the stock market to start 2022 off.

Maybe shouldn’t use the words “very big” as it may drop a lot more later this year, who knows? 😀

Luckily enough, as an index investor, there will be highs and lows on the way.

Might as well get used to drops like this. Doesn’t mind me one bit!

If your money is going to be invested for over 20 years there’s no need to be worried and look every single day.

Leave it and be patient. Slow and steady wins the race.





The total index amount shows a significant drop around this New Year.

But zooming out it’s been a great incline since June 2019!



Company:

Managed to close a big client this month which is very very exciting.

A client that isn’t very optimal for Facebook ads but the first two weeks of performance has been a success already in combination with Google ads!

This month, I also had the chance to visit one of my clients in person, a two-hour drive there and back, but well worth it to see each other face-to-face and make plans for the season (Spring and summer).

I’ve made myself a promise now to always go for a personal visit at the beginning of onboarding a new client as it really gives a good solid start to the collaboration.

I find it gives a great sense of trust when meeting people in person.


Job :

A fresh new class started in January at the school where I teach ‘Outdoor’ on the side besides my company.

Great having half-days filled with activities such as teambuilding exercises, introduction to climbing techniques, geocache challenges, next week 2×4 hours teaching top-rope climbing and belaying.

A great balance between screen time and active/social hours during the week!
 

Tiny House progress

We’ve written to 5 to 10 libraries etc. to see whether they’re interested in a tiny house presentation about the build and lifestyle!

Cranked up the price as we now are some of the top people in Denmark to come and speak on the subject.

Who would’ve thought eh?? 😀

Crazy what 2 1/2 years can do.

Fingers crossed these event locations can see the growing interest in Denmark when it comes to Tiny House living.

And with the house ending at the stunning price of 150,000 – Not too many presentations may be able to fund the whole house.

Wouldn’t that be a great goal to achieve!
