How was 2021? Goals for 2022

2021 is now a time of the past and it’s time to see how it went.

I’m a big fan of new years assessment of how the year has turned out.

Whether is has been full of steps towards your personal and professional goals,

and of course seeing where there is room for improvement.

Work and my first company!

This year has been quite a bit of balancing working at the school and focusing on the start of my new company.

Where I help webshops and many other types of companies grow through paid advertisement.

This year has been jampacked with a lot of new learnings and working out how it is to be a consultant!

It has been challenging and I’ve learnt a lot and it’s a great feeling to be able to help companies get an overview of where there company is and how the best way for them is grow.

Some great clients and people to work with plus getting to see very interesting business from the ‘inside’, luckily!

The freedom of being able to work from anywhere as long as I have my computer with me is one of the best perks of my company.

I can travel around Denmark and still be able to work just as fine as being in the office.

A real FIRE style type of work.

And therefore something I really would like to continue with and make my main income from.

Were the 2021 goals met?

Invest 100.000 dkk (13446 €) Managed 221.912 dkk (29.840 €)
Average savings rate over 60 % Managed 55,25 % (still good though!)
30.000 dkk per. month from company at end of year 15.000 dkk pr. month
Blog stats : 25.000 visitors and 30.000 sessions 21.915 visitors and 26.736 sessions. Very close.

Blog stats 2021:

2019 – 794 users – 1100 sessions.

2020 – 9261 users – 11.797 sessions.

2021 – 21.708 users – 26.736 sessions.

A big increase in traffic from last year which is lovely to see again !

And which also means the site was very close to reaching the 25.000 users which was the goal.

Important: This was with minimum writing on the blog.

And after learning and implementing Search Engine Optimization in the start of spring 2021.

As you could probably tell by the amount of posts, focus has been in other areas this year.

SEO i’ll be focussing on now for EVERY post as this gives passive traffic many months after posting a given post;

And quite an impressive amount when you get it right!

Managed to rank very very very well for another keyword this year which is now the most read page on the site.

Which is great to see!

I’ll be optimizing more posts for next year as it only makes sense to write posts that people are looking for answers to or inspiration about, I feel.

We’ll see how it goes.

Invest 50.000 dkk 4015 € in the house ( not indexes) ( 2021 invested in indexes = 221.912 dkk 4015€ )

Average savings rate over 50 % ( 2021 = 55,25% SVR)

Yearly income from company in 2022 = 500.000 dkk (Lets go!)

30.000 visitors and 35.000 sessions ( 2021 = 21.708 visitors and 26.736 sessions)

A lot has happened In 2021 with many new changes.
